You’ll receive 2 weeks paid vacation to start, 3 weeks after 3 years, and 4 weeks annual vacation after 5 years. You’ll also receive 3 personal days per year, 8 holidays, and a paid holiday break between Christmas and New Year’s which serves as an extra, “mini vacation”.

CLAIMS PROCESSING SUPERVISOR
What We’re Looking For:
We seek an experienced, professional supervisor with the ability to oversee the receipt, processing and calculation of monthly claims submitted to Claims staff by providers in compliance with contractual requirements, regulations, and agency policies and procedures. You will implement quality control procedures to assure accuracy and efficiency in claims processing. You will also assist in developing division goals and measurement systems of performance indicators.
Other key roles include conducting Claims team meetings, identify and coordinate training needs by developing and implementing a productivity and accuracy tracking system. You will also track and monitor problematic customer service situations to identify trends or patterns of problematic service issues and communicate findings to Department Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
•College degree with a focus on Accounting, Business, or Human/Social Services preferred. Relevant, verifiable work experience may be substituted for college level education.
•Preferable work experience includes working with child care providers and parents receiving subsidized child care or social support services.
•Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
•Must be results driven with proven ability to set and meet unit goals.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
•Ability to work collaboratively and productively with diverse groups of people and individuals
•Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to meet deadlines
•Ability to manage multiple complex projects and to acquire necessary resources to do so while exercising good independent judgment toward meeting agency and department objectives
•Strong conceptual and analytical skills
•Ability to diplomatically address claims processing problems involving child care providers, participants and case managers
•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to coach and mentor others, and the ability to lead in a positive team environment
•Knowledge of and/or experience working with CalWORKs child care subsidy programs preferred
•Knowledge of Funding Terms and Conditions of state and county programs
