Designs and negotiates risk transfer/risk financing products in the markets for assigned clients. Syndicators will specialize in a specific product and will report to the Sr. Syndicator of their product line.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Identifies and analyzes client exposures to recommend and design risk transfer/financing products.
Facilitates and reviews the compilation of submission information in conjunction with Relationship Managers and ACS support.
Finalizes market submission and product design options with Relationship Manager and client, as appropriate.
Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of insurance marketplace, products, and services. Develops and maintains productive business relationships with key players.
Selects, submits and negotiates with appropriate markets to meet and exceed coverage and risk transfer/risk financing products.
Creates syndication status reports as required by client.
Analyzes and compares risk transfer/risk financing products and presents to relationship manager and client. Confirms final decisions and initiates program execution with Relationship Manager and ACS.
Assists the Relationship Manager in establishing the Client Service Plan.
Develops and maintains understanding of analytical/actuarial techniques to design and compare risk transfer/risk financing plans as required by product line.
Understands the causes of E&O and adopts practices to reduce Aon’s exposure.
Adheres to Aon’s adopted best practices.
Job Requirements
2-3 years previous experience in like position.
Individuals at this level must generally be degreed in Risk Management or business related curricula. This level requires that incumbents be able to handle the duties described above with minimal oversight. On less complex accounts, Syndicators may independently handle the account and meet with the client. Syndicators may support Senior Syndicators on complex accounts. Individuals at this level should have a basic knowledge of their specialty and a general knowledge of all other lines of insurance. Individuals should understand policy construction and application and have experience and/or education in Risk Management/Insurance. In addition they should possess good client relation, organizational and time management/multi-tasking skills. They should be able to fully utilize PC office products, such as Word, Excel and Lotus Notes and possess ability to gain proficiency in internal business application, such as Bridge.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
