Job Description:
St. Paul Travelers, a leading provider of Auto, Liability, Property, and Workers' Compensation Insurance is seeking talented, committed, and professional team players to join our exciting, fast moving, and growing Melville claim organization located in our Melville, NY location.

You will be responsible for providing overall leadership and guidance to a team of inside claim handlers in our Auto Physical Damage Unit. You will select, train and motivate employees and provide development opportunities and candid, effective performance feedback. You will ensure that results are achieved and also ensure
file quality that is consistent with best practices and the files are validated to compliance with quality expectations. In this position, you will also deploy resources to maximize productivity and you will effectively manage expenses to help promote competitiveness in the marketplace. Your management experience will empower team members in managing multiple priorities and will evaluate more efficient and creative ways to manage workflow. You will maintain positive employee relations by encouraging open communication, providing regular feedback and sharing business information and managing change as the needs arise. As a member of the management team, your communication with employees will promote employee ownership as well as agreed-upon goals and strategies.Job Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must have a college degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience and proven management experience or leadership skills in auto damage claims.
