Knowledge and Skills Required:
* Bachelor Degree preferred
* Bilingual skills STRONGLY desired
* Customer focus and ability to handle multiple tasks
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
* Must have strong analytical and decision making skills
* Claim handling experience is a plus
* Interest in pursuing management opportunities in the future desired
* Basic computer and keyboard skills
* Valid driver's license required


Duties and Responsibilities:
* Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle auto claims, which may require contact by telephone, correspondence or in person.
* Evaluate facts of the loss and liability analysis to determine appropriate settlement options.
* Effectively communicates with customers, witnesses, agents, other insurance companies, medical providers, attorneys, repair shops, and others in the course of processing the claim.
* May, under management's direction, work with attorneys in defense of lawsuits.
* Complete Claims School and Policy Testing.
* May resolve a large volume of claim calls in a claim central call center environment.
* Job may require travel via commercial transportation and/or driving motor vehicles.
