Associate Underwriter

Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Real EstateFunction: Risk ManagementResponsibilities: As an Associate Underwriter with the GE Commercial Finance, Real Estate Team, this individual will be responsible for performing the underwriting on Structured Finance debt transactions including the following:
Working with TRM and RM to perform desktop review of preliminary underwriting and market analysis during prelim process
Participating in "kick-off" calls on all new transactions after applications are finalized
Analyzing historical and projected future property economics, including use of ARGUS and proprietary underwriting tools
Reviewing NOI Audit and third party reports
Completing detailed written reviews and abstracts on tenant leases
Completing site inspections
Completing Credit Requests for committee presentation
Participating in process improvement and Quality initiatives as required
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree or (a high school diploma/GED and 5 years of related work experience).
Minimum of two years Real Estate experience
Strong computer skills in Excel and Word, ARGUS, and REsource
Must be able to travel 2-4 times per month

Strong organizational skills; ability to coordinate several projects and processes concurrently is critical
Familiarity with ARGUS and REsource
