Associate Project Manager / Multicultural Communications

This position is located in Northbrook, IL The purpose of this department is to lead the development of integrated consumer communications that build Allstate brand consideration and preference, to drive brand consistency and broaden the brand footprint across all media based on Allstate brand standards and guidelines, and to deliver those communications with operational excellence. The Integrated Marketing Communications department partners with other areas of Marketing to ensure communications are strategically aligned against business goals and objectives. The scope of this job is to support the strategic development, creative execution and implementation of multicultural integrated marketing communication plans and programs that support Allstate's marketing strategies. The position will be responsible for: 1. Implementing nationally integrated marketing communications programs targeted to African American, Hispanic American, and Asian American consumer groups. 2. Assisting with creative development and execution of national advertising, ensuring integration with overall brand positioning, brand standards and messaging strategy. 3. Helping to manage internal communications needs, including the development of videos and presentations. 4. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external business partners and resources, including advertising agencies, strategy/product managers and legal teams. 5. Managing project/production budgets.
REQUIREMENTS

Intermediate - Creative judgment skills - marketing planning and media planning and buying skills Experience Required: Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in marketing communications/advertising agency, with a strong background in evaluating creative and advertising production (print and broadcast) a plus. Spanish fluency is preferred. Multicultural communications experience a plus.
