Associate Account Rep - WSA

Under close supervision, the Associate Account Representative will work closely with the Field Trainer and Director Of Sales to learn the products/services, policies and procedures within Wausau Commercial Market (WCM) and Wausau Signature Agency (WSA). Incumbents will participate in an extensive training program that includes job shadow assignments with loss prevention, claims, and division underwriting. The Associate Account Representative will work with assigned WSA Associates to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to sell and renew accounts as an Account Representative. After successfully completing this assignment, which typically lasts at least 6 months but not more than 12 months, the employee will become an Account Representative with production, new business, and renewal responsibilities and participate in a sales incentive plan.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a bachelor's degree or sales experience. Requires highly effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, tact and negotiation skills.
General working knowledge insurance products and marketing techniques, insurance contracts, funding and rating preferred but not required. Work experience up to 2 years.
Ability to meet state license and/or bonding requirements within 6 months of employment.
Must sign and agree to conditions set forth in Wausau Marketing Agreement. Ability and willingness to travel and work irregular and unusual hours.
