The scope of this job is to create detailed technical specifications, develops application and system code, participates in code reviews and module testing, and supports ongoing maintenance. Design and development of mainframe application programs using COBOL and IMS. Ability to work with changing priorities and multiple tasks with aggressive and short time commitments. Ability to effectively work with clients to analyze their business specifications, in order to determine the needed technical requirements. Ability to effectively work with application teams to analyze their technical specifications. Ability to manage and successfully handle a challenging workload.
REQUIREMENTS
Computer Proficiency:
COBOL (Required) IMS JCL DB2 Endevor Microsoft Office

Education:
College Degree - Preferred
Major preference: Computer Science
