Account Representative - WSA

Under supervision, responsible for producing Wausau Signature Agency (WSA) revenue through the marketing and retention of commercial insurance, employee benefits, and risk management products and services in assigned territory for Wausau Insurance Companies and other designated markets and sources.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Ability to meet state license and/or bonding requirements.

Knowledge and Skills: Possesses strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills including presentation, persuasion, tact and negotiation skills. Sufficient physical mobility and capability to do field work promptly. Working knowledge or ability to understand computer applications as used by the WSA. Must sign and agree to conditions set forth in Marketing Agreement.
Must perform all duties with high ethical standards as set forth in the Wausau Insurance Cos. Code of Conduct.

Job Requirements/Working Conditions: Individuals will be required to pass their respective states P&C and Group A&H licensing examinations within six months of assuming this position. Within this six-month window, associates will be allowed to take each exam a maximum of three times. If an associate is unable or unwilling to pass the exams within the six-month timeframe or is unable to pass either exam on three consecutive attempts, they will not be allowed to remain in this position and may be terminated. A Motor Vehicle Report is required. A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards. Ability and willingness to travel and work irregular and unusual hours.
