Lockton Companies, a premier insurance brokerage located in the Denver Tech Center, is looking for a talented and self-directed individual to join the Lockton team as an Account Manager in our Commercial Insurance Department.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks for the renewal of current client business by delivering/presenting submissions to markets and participating in negotiations; reviewing quotes and preparing proposals; participating in renewal presentations; binding coverage with underwriters; preparing renewal order/instructions; processing renewed accounts; and preparing summaries, completing final policy checks, and closing items.

Participate in the new business marketing process as directed.

Perform tasks assigned under the Client Service Plan.

Responsible for the accuracy of work performed by the Account Administrator.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a business-related program or equivalent education and/or experience required.

Three to five years' working knowledge of commercial property/casualty coverages and services preferred.

Experience in marketing and servicing the insurance needs of commercial accounts preferred.

Must understand commercial rating concepts.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel required; PowerPoint desired.

Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required.

Strong attention to detail required.

Demonstrated professional, tactful negotiation, and persuasion skills to achieve objectives required.

Above-average verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility required.
