Account Executive

Primary Role: Responsible for retaining and growing an assigned book of business.

Performance Standards: Meet agency's objective for client service, new business production account development, collections and renewal retention. Oversee the unit's placement of business.

Duties: Market, service, develop and retain assigned accounts. Meet established accounts development and retention objectives, as well as targeted mix of business, underwriting guidelines, and volume commitments.

Perform risk analysis surveys, obtain renewal information, complete application, obtain markets, deliver policies coordinate efforts of loss control or other services collect payments, and resolve service problems.

Retain and develop accounts by making recommendation regarding the risk to the customer for the most cost effect e and proper insurance coverage, preparing proposals, evaluating and recommending other lines and providing additional resource3s for the client as needed.

Utilize Applied System in Working with all assigned accounts. Perform all duties in accordance with Procedure Manual.
Must be able to sit for extended periods.
Must be able to type on a keyboard at 50 words per minute.
REQUIREMENTS
Commercial Lines experience and college degree or professional equivalent essential. Good oral and written communication skills. Agent's license required. CPCU or CIC desirable.
