Truck / Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Purpose: A company in Pompano Beach, FL specializing in environmental waste services is looking for candidates to fill a position as a HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC.

Our client specializes in waste removal, processing, and recycling operations with hundreds of locations nationwide and one of the nation's largest fleets of heavy-duty trucks.

Candidates will be working in and outdoors providing mechanical service and operating of the heavy equipment and trucks.

Hourly pay is $13-18/hr, depending on related experience in the following:

-Power Train Rebuilding Skills
-Major Heavy Equipment Work (Engine, Transmission, Etc.)
-Electrical / Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
-Hydraulic Repairs and Troubleshooting
-CDL License (Class A or B)
-Welding (mig and tig)
-Ability to perform Service Road Calls efficiently
-Ability to obtain and maintain ASE certification
-Replacement of various parts
-Maintenance of clutch and brakes
-Diesel and natural gas engine experience

Candidates may also receive hourly bonus incentives based on certifications, CDL licenses, and / or longevity within the company.
