Job Description
General Purpose:
Responsible for order processing of TWTC's transport infrastructure and interconnect trunk services surrounding project implementation of new vendor equipment and architectures. Provides single point of contact for project manager, local city engineering and sales personnel, NOC personnel and inter-exchange carriers regarding the status of project orders.
REQUIREMENTS
Duties and Responsibilities:

Receives, tracks and completes orders associated with transport, switched access services and interconnect trunk/transport infrastructure.

Distributes Firm Order Confirmation (FOC) reports to customers/city sales/switch personnel.

Creates databases that will track orders from receipt, to FOC and through completion. Tracks and reports order accuracy.

Works with LEC Account Manager and Local Exchange Carriers during city implementation meetings to identify necessary information prior to placing orders.

Provides periodic status reports to entire project team.

Completes orders in appropriate systems and sends completion reports to customers/city sales/switch personnel.

Typical Qualifications:
Education/Experience:

High school degree and 1-3 years related work experience. Experience in creating databases and reports. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word and Excel. Strong organizational skills and verbal and written communications skills. Be a flexible, multi-task oriented individual whom is self-motivated and committed. Knowledge of telecommunications and TWTC NOC processes a plus.
