Technician 4 - Irvine

Position Summary: Candidate would provide services for asbestos consultation services (air and bulk sampling, building surveys, abatement oversight and project management); (2) Perform walk through evaluations for water-intrusion and fungal evaluations and perform a variety of sampling applications for airborne and surface fungi and bacteria; and (3) Provide project management for mold abatement projects. This position will complement the services of the Certified Asbestos Consultant Project Manager.



Requirements:

State of California Certified Survelliance Tech (CSST) or Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC), Bachelors Degree desired but not required, 5 years experience in general industrial hygiene applications, 2 years asbestos project management experience. Candidate must also have good communication, calculation, and writing skills.



Job Conditions/Environment:

Much of the time will be spent working alone without on-site supervision. Site evaluations may require walking through the facility over a 10-hour work shift. Ability to work with managers and employees in a co-operational manner will be required.
