Job DescriptionDUTIES: Duties include: environmental field technician work to include , but not limited to, environmental groundwater, soil and air sampling, remediation system O&M and troubleshooting, O&M of monitoring well fields, monitoring, gauging, sampling; also, duties include subcontractor oversight, remediation oversight, client interface, maintenance and repair, project site maintenance. Monitor (with a flame ionization detector - TVA 1000B) valves, pumps flanges, etc. per EPA Method 21. Tag the equipment (valves, pumps, etc.) in 2 new processing units and log this information into a datalogger. Retag 10 other process units that will be going through turnaround/shutdown. REQUIREMENTS: Strong writing and note-taking/documentation skills; strong mechanical skills; strong understanding of environmental protocols associated with sampling, investigations and remediation; works without direct supervision; strong H&S culture and demonstrated safety performance; familiarity and use of PPE. Current OSHA HAZWOPER 40 Hour Training and 8 Hour refresher training a plus. REF:CAAR502698
