Technical Team Leader

Job DescriptionSupervises all aspects of maintenance to support production ensuring compliance with Company expectations related to Quality, Safety, Productivity and People. This position will reports to the Facilities LeaderSupervises Technical Team Members in the maintenance of production lines and equipment to achieve maximum efficiency and minimize downtimeLeads projects involving installation, modification, or renovation of facilities and equipment;Collaborates with Operations Team Leaders, engineers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure customer needs are met;Leads efforts to upgrade facility for efficiency, safety and reliability;Supervises repairs and supplies, purchases and budgets;Ensures compliance with all policies, rules and regulations, and procedures regarding safety, quality, GMP, sanitation, and production goalsOperates within the parameters of the Collective Bargaining Agreement;Investigates and resolves, where possible, employee complaints and grievancesProvides clear direction to subordinates and confronts substandard performance. Recognizes superior performance.Supervises a shift of Technical Team Members in either production facility.Relocation benefits available for internal candidates only

High School Diploma; some college work preferredThree years experience in food manufacturing maintenance environmentExperience with refrigerationSuperior leadership and technical skillsExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsProblem solving / decision making skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities simultaneously without losing efficiencyFamiliarity with GMPStrong influence management skills
