Tech. Ops. Supervisor

MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.) * Supervise responsibilities for technical maintenance department, including fiber optic, trunk and distribution cable to ensure the delivery of reliable quality pictures to subscriber base. * Oversee daily operations and maintenance. * Ensure proper routing, scheduling, and completion of all scheduled maintenance, and on demand maintenance. * Provides coaching and corrective action as required. * Supervise and direct on-call procedures and responsibilities. * Supervise and develop technical staff on system problems, policies, procedures and FCC regulations. * Ensure compliance with FCC and CLI requirements. * Ensure that technical maintenance department complies with system safety program. * Ensure that staffing is conducted in accordance with company policy. * Audit responsibilities. * Supervise and direct line problems and leakage programs in system. * Supervise and direct forward and reverse sweep. * Supervise and direct certification, repair, outages and maintenance of return systems. * Supervise and direct QC’s of power supplies in system. * Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
REQUIREMENTS


EDUCATION: ·High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent. EXPERIENCE: ·Must have 3-5 years experience in cable operations. ·Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience preferred. ·Ability to coach, supervise and train others. ·Proven ability to organize and monitor all technical functions of similar size system. ·Excellent team building and follow-up skills. ·Must have exceptional communication skills both verbal and oral. ·Ability to work with other departments to attain system goals. ·Solid performer. ·Strong organization and project management skills. ·Knowledge of all of Company’s existing products and services. ·Technical field experience.
