Systems Technician - Seasonal

Universal Screen Arts, Inc. in Hudson, OH, home to 4 catalog brands, is in need of an Seasonal System Technician. We are flexible to either an internship OR standard hourly employment as well, so if you meet the qualifications below, please indicate which option you would prefer!The System Technician at Universal Screen Arts is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to desktop machines and peripherals. This individual should be able to work independently.
Primary Responsibilities
?Front line user support for all PC and desktop application issues
?Workstation setup and upgrade
?Troubleshoot and resolve PC related problems?Troubleshoot and resolve printer related problems
?Installation and upgrade of PC based applications
?Maintain hardware/software inventory
?File uploads/downloads?File maintenance and archiving
?Maintain user logons
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Requirements?Previous help desk or user support experience
?Ability to install, troubleshoot and repair a PC
?Fundamental computing knowledge
?Familiarity with laser printers and other peripheralsNon-Technical Requirements?Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
?Strong communication skills
?Positive, service-oriented attitude
?Scheduling flexibility
?Consistent organizational skills
?Good judgment
Qualified candidates will have excellent typing accuracy, the ability to multitask, experience in customer contact via phone, and be able to pass a drug test and background screen prior to start.
