Job Duties:
•You will be Installing, rearranging, and maintaining inside wiring as well as rearranging and reconnecting pairs of wires at pole, underground or building terminals and performing necessary work to connect, disconnect, test, repair and maintaining company and customer equipment.
•You will be performing diagnostic tests on integrated circuit equipment to determine trouble as well as interpreting service orders and circuit diagrams. In addition, you will be keeping detailed written record of all work activity as well as traveling between work locations by driving a company vehicle. Addition duties include evaluating customer communication needs and promoting the sale of Company products and services and/or referring customer to Business Office. Finally you will be climbing poles and ladders and working aloft. Moving and lifting items such as ladders, tools, test equipment and cable reels, generally weighing up to 100 lbs. Performing light digging.

Training:
Training generally includes pole climbing, classroom and on-the-job instruction. May include Department of Transportation training and safe driving courses.
These are full-time, regular positions with a generous benefits package. The pay range is $590.50/week to $1,144.00/week. Wage credit may be considered based upon work experience, education, and training. Paid Training is included.

REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
•The successful candidate will successfully complete Verizon pre-employment testing as well as have the ability to perceive differences in wire and cable colors. You will also meet weight restriction to comply with OSHA/Company safety standards.
•The successful candidate must have ability to remove ladder from installation truck; carry, raise, climb and descend ladder, and place ladder on truck. A background investigation will be required as well as valid state driver's license is required. Must speak English clearly. This position involves day, evening, and night assignments, including weekends and holidays. Overtime and emergency call-outs are required.
Desired Skills:
•Work experience/Educational skills in using meters to determine db loss and Cable TV installation
