Position Summary:
As service technician, this employee will be the front line in the efforts to provide world-class service to Disney and its rental and work fleet of over 500 boats. Technician must assure that all motors and boat controls are functioning properly, that engines maintain good appearance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Working in customer facility, providing on-site service
Coordinating marine service activities among the various other services that are performed between boat rentals
Must work under deadlines and pressure to assure boats are ready at 'rental' time
Work is performed on the dock or in a maintenance facility and some on a boat in the water
Diagnose engine performance with engines, drive and boat controls
Provide maintenance services to Mercury Products and related boat hardware to factory specifications
Keep detailed Service Logs
Perform boat rigging, de-rigging and boat launching and removal
Maintain work area in a professional manner

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience Requirements
Basic Marine Technology Training (BMT)
High School or equivalent
3 to 5 years servicing outboards, stern drives, rigging, boat repair
Experience in customer Service
Good interpersonal communication skills dealing with customers and management
