Fairborn Equipment Company has been a leader in the loading dock and overhead door industry for several years. Recently, we have experienced significant growth at our Lombard, IL. location and have set elevated goals for the years to come and we want you to grow with us. Currently, we are seeking a career-minded individual to become part of our organization.Fairborn Equipment Company of Illinois is seeking both experienced and entry-level service technician's to install and service dock levelers, dock locks, shelters, bumpers, overhead doors, sectional doors, rolling steel doors, high speed doors, and freezer doors.
REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the desire to be a part of a growing and dedicated service group, the following skills are required:- Customer-friendly communication skills
- The ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.
- The ability to safely use power and hand tools
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fundamentals.
- WeldingAlthough the above skills are a prerequisite, we will provide all specific product training at our facilities in Chicago, and in conjunction with our suppliers.The successful candidate must also be able to acquire a CDL drivers license, pass a DOT physical (includes a drug screening), and must be willing to submit for a background check.This is a long-term opportunity.
