Service Supervisor

Responsibilities:
Preserve and maintain the physical facilities and grounds within the community so they are
safe and aesthetically appealing to residents and prospective residents.
Assist in all aspects of the community's maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, deferred and emergency maintenance.
Supervise and establish daily work schedule for maintenance staff. Provide service to residents in a prompt and professional manner.
Provide repair work on vacant apartments in a timely fashion. Obtain thorough knowledge of power, water and gas turnoffs, clean out traps, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants.
Approve expenditures within the guidelines of the approved budget. Perform other duties as assigned or which are inherent to the position. Assist Community Manager in performing his or her duties.

Experience/Skills:
EPA Certification - Universal Level.
Four years in a service position at an apartment community or a related position.
Excellent people skills.
Must be results oriented and a self-starter.
Organization skills and attention to detail are essential.
Must be mechanically inclined. HVAC certification.
Must be able to use all types of hand and power tools, Freon recovery machinery, air conditioning gauges and vacuum pumps.
