Senior Windows Systems Administrator

4Front Systems, a Cisco Gold Partner, is currently looking for a Senior Windows Systems Administrator for the Richmond Va area.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- All aspects of maintaining and supporting the following:
--Server Building
--Server Troubleshooting
--System Upgrades
--Architecture/Procedural Documentation
--SAN Connection Configuration
--Activity Coordination

- Perform daily operational duties to include:
--Incident resolution
--System monitoring and reporting
--Proactive system management
--Perform on-call duties
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements
-Mandatory - Minimum 5 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Windows NT/2000/2003 servers to include:
--General application installation and troubleshooting
--OS Performance tuning and troubleshooting and correction
--OS corruption and “BSOD” troubleshooting and correction
- Mandatory – Expert working knowledge of MS DNS, WINS, NLB, SNMP and MS Clustering technologies
- Mandatory – Comprehensive understanding of/experience with connecting Windows Servers to SAN infrastructures via fiber and utilizing Dynamic Multi-Pathing software within a clustered environment
- Mandatory – Comprehensive understanding of LAN topology and how to troubleshoot Server/Client network and/or application connectivity issues
- Mandatory – Comprehensive understanding of Dell and HP Server hardware architectures including:
--Dell models 2450, 2550, 2650, 6400, 6450, and Power-Vault
--HP models to include DL, ML and MSA
--Troubleshooting hardware using Dell/HP utilities
--Component level replacements
-- Disk configuration and RAID
- Mandatory - Experience using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project
- Mandatory – Expert working knowledge of 2003 Active Directory
- Mandatory - IT Project Management experience
