SPARTANBURG STEEL PRODUCTSPurchasing Manager - Steel Excellent opportunity available to join our purchasing team with responsibility for managing direct raw material steel purchase requirements ensuring on time delivery, quality and cost consistent with overall corporate goals. Will oversee supplier negotiations and contracts; develop strategic steel supply goals; update senior management on market trends and drive material cost improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years purchasing experience with 3-5 years at the manager level preferably in automotive, steel or metals procurement with strong negotiation, analytical and leadership skills; BA/BS degree in business or engineering with advanced degree preferred.
