Route Specialist, New York City

Nalco has an opening for a Route Specialist in our WaterServ Division located in New york City, NY. Nalco provides chemical treatment programs for HVAC water systems including specialized feed equipment, onsite consultative service and delivery of chemical products. As a Route Specialist, you will be Nalco's primary representative visiting the customer.



Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:Provide service to an existing customer base on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis, including chemistry field tests and written service reports. Grow existing business by introducing and selling new products to current customers. Maintain customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding agreed upon service activities and schedules. Minimize attrition by anticipating customer problems and responding to their needs in a timely manner through proactive problem solving. Utilize support from Hub Manager, Inside & Outside sales team, and Nalco corporate to assist in maintaining customer satisfaction. Delivery of chemicals and chemical feed equipment to new and existing accounts. Work with Hub Manager to manage and maintain inventory of chemical, equipment, and parts in Hub Warehouse for on-time delivery to customers. Work with the Outside Sales Representative to successfully transition new customer accounts by developing agreed upon service plans with the customer. Complete all required administrative work and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Operate and manage your account assignments within the policies and procedures established by Nalco Company.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have at least a High school diploma Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing systems or building maintenance a plus A valid driver's license and a safe driving record Previous customer service experience, preferably in an industrial or service industry Previous experience in a sales-related role
