Regional Field Service Manager: autonomous role in growth region

This position offers you a "ground floor" opportunity within the stability and resources of a company backed by 70+ years of success: your mission will be to ensure our Northern California Field Services operations (the Santa Clara office is about one year old) run smoothly. You'll enjoy a great deal of autonomy in this role, and as long as you are delivering results and achieving your goals, we'll allow you the freedom and flexibility to do things your way -- of course, we'll also provide support and training when you need it. In this position you'll hone your business management skills, and your success could set you up to pursue other positions in multiple locations around the country.

You'll supervise nine (and growing) Field Service Technicians performing maintenance and repair throughout Northern California, from Salinas north. This office has grown organically, and you'll formalize business practices such as tracking, scheduling, accounting, and follow up. Our business model is not complicated, and we'll help you learn and implement it. In addition, you'll develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to help expand our presence in the region.

REQUIREMENTS
To be a good fit for this position you'll have a combination of management experience, an ability to promote sales, and technical background in the maintenance and/or construction of underground utilities or traffic signals. We're looking for a service/construction business professional with the ability to understand a P&L statement as well as the self-discipline and self-motivation to run an organized operation with minimal supervision.
