Program Technician Supervisor

Division#: 22-0003Division Name: TX Integrated Eligibility and Enrollment ServicesJob Responsibilities: Supervise Program Technician staff including all functions associated with data entry. Monitors performance, writes performance appraisals and provides disciplinary actions as needed of assigned staff. Trains, motivates and evaluates performance of data entry staff. Monitors workload and coordinates schedules. Consistently and effectively communicates with the Program Technician Manager on performance standard levels. Reviews the daily work of Technicians to ensure accuracy of all records. Ensures staff maintains updated knowledge of the program. Provides the Manager with updates on all issues regarding quality, training, policy, procedures, and staff issues. Oversees the application data entry process and oversees the transfer of cases to the Program Division. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent relevant experience, or one-to-three years of supervisory experience in a health or social services field. Two years prior experience in data entry. Ability to demonstrate supervisory and leadership skills; computer literacy. Ability to follow directions; ability to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of people. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment. Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently. Knowledge of Texas Health and Human Services programs preferred.
