Under general supervision, performs daily excavation of ore from mining site. Duties may include setting and igniting explosives, daily maintenance of dozers and other equipment as necessary, and recording maintenance issues associated with equipment. Utilizes a haul truck/loader to transport waste and/or ore from pit area to either waste dump or storage location.Posted: 7/31/2006

REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of MSHA regulations. Begin to demonstrate ability to visually identify and then separate barite ore from waste. Proficient in the operation of loader and haul trucks.
