Neighborhood Technician (11269)

The Service Technician analyzes, locates and repairs any technical field problems or defects occurring from the output of the previous amplifier to the television. The primary goal of this position is the satisfactory resolution of subscriber complaints regarding their television and/or internet service. This individual will also record signal levels and record and repair leakage when detected. The Service Technician position requires proficient technical expertise coupled with excellent customer service skills.
REQUIREMENTS
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year of electronic experience with communications troubleshooting and repair experience is preferred. This individual must be able to carry a ladder, climb a pole, and use a combination of tools including signal level meters, cable locaters, leakage detectors, and VOMs. The person must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and do repetitive crawling, stooping, reaching, pushing, twisting, pulling, digging, and ladder climbing. The position is outdoors year round with exposure to various weather conditions and living environments.
