Mechanics, Field Service and Shop Mechanic

Ahern Rentals Inc, established in 1953, is one of leading equipment rental companies in the United States. We are the largest independently owned rental business in the United States with 34 locations in 8 States. We are growing again and are currently seeking hard working, experienced, Mechanics, Field and Shop who are interested in stability and progression with in a growing company.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Experience repairing and maintaining vehicles and equipment with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, gas and diesel rental equipment.
Knowledge and operation of construction equipment would be beneficial.
Truck and diesel engine experience would be considered an asset.
Must possess own tools.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
A customer friendly disposition and a safety first attitude.
Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, the agility to climb over and into equipment and the dexterity to work at heights over 10 feet.
Must possess a team orientated spirit.
Must have a clean driving record to work Field Service.
