Maintenance Supervisor

The Judge Group, Inc. is currently in search of a Degreed Maintenance
Supervisor for a large food manufacturer located in Arizona. Primary job
responsiblities are supervising the value added facility's maintenance
fuctions on a given shift, which include:




· Monitor the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program and support production
efforts by maintaining operating equipment in a cost effective manner,
with high standards of quality and safety at all times




· Track equipment downtime; maintain optimal efficiency to minimize product
overweighs and waste




· Troubleshoot electrical, PLC and mechanical equipment problems




· Monitor safety, perform/enforce safety training and adherence to standards




· Train mechanics and operators in maintenance procedures




· Supervision of hourly maintenance staff




· Other duties as assigned

The qualified candidate for the Maintenance Supervisor position MUST HAVE a
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering, or
equivalent maintenance experience with high speed vertical form fill
packaging systems, conveyors, hydraulics, single and three-phase electrical
systems and refrigeration systems. The qualified candidate should have 5-7
years current experience in a maintenance supervisor capacity, preferably
in a food company manufacturing environment, with vertical form/fill/seal
packaging systems, conveyors, hydraulics, single and three-phase electrical
systems and ammonia refrigeration systems. Experience in establishing
programs such as work order tracking, inventory accountability, job
assignment and tracking, and process controls. Computer skills using a
variety of software programs, and excellent interpersonal and communication
skills (both written and oral), as well as, Bilingual (Spanish) candidates
