Maintenance Specialist II open in Bay Point

Safely perform maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and buildings; complete assigned work in prompt, efficient manner; analyze equipment problems; document all actions and complete paperwork for all work orders; perform predictive, preventative maintenance checks as assigned. Mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, machining, electrical and electronics skills required.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Profesional Requirements:
· High school diploma
· A minimum of six years past work experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing plant.· Ability to perform common mechanical and electrical crafts at a journeyman level; read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches
· Commitment to safety standards· Good language comprehension skills to record detailed written records of work performed and communicate effectively on technical and non-technical issues
· Ability to effectively work independently or as part of a team of other Maintenance Specialists, Operators and Engineers
· Basic computer skills
· Valid California driver’s license
