Maintenance - Food Manufacturing

Established food manufacturing company with locations in North Fort Worth and South Dallas has opportunities available for an experienced Maintenance Technicians. Applicants must be highly motivated self starters with direct or related experience. Experience in a high volume, automated food manufacturing environment is required.

As a valuable member of the Maintenance Team, a Maintenance Technician will perform tasks and assist other members of the maintenance team to ensure all equipment and building systems are operating at peak efficiencies. Duties will include equipment / building system monitoring, preventive maintenance and repair.

REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:

· Repair of all processing and building systems

· Assist other memebrs of the maintenance team in keeping Maintenance Shop, Engine Room, Tool Room, Maintenance Restroom and Parts Area clean and organized.

· Seek opportunities for continuous improvement of all building systems, equipment and processes. Communicate ideas with company management.

· Assure proper operation and peak performance of all equipment and building systems.

· Daily review of refrigeration data to ensure proper operation of equipment.

· Respond to refrigeration or building systems failures or alarms as needed.

· Assist with equipment and building systems computer maintenance and backups.

· Assist with coordination and supervision of equipment and building systems maintenance and repair contracts.

· Assist in development and maintenance of written descriptions of all safety programs relating to equipment and building systems.

· Assists other members of the maintenance team in assuring proper operation, perform preventive / predictive maintenance and emergency repair of all processing equipment and building systems including;

Ammonia Refrigeration System

Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical

Fire Sprinkler and Alarm Systems

Electric Forklift and Pallet Jacks

Doors and Dock Levelers

Saws, Tenderizers and Skinners

Conveyors, Scales and Sorters

Automatic Portioning Machines

Packaging Machines

Box Erectors and Tapers

Label Applicators

Facility Lighting, Exit and Emergency Lighting

· Light welding, cutting and fabricating

· Additional duties as assigned

Bilingual a plus

Strong Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting skills
