Maintenance Electrician

Johnson Matthey, a world leader in automotive catalysts, has an opening in its Wayne, PA facility for Maintenance Electricians. The successful candidate must be able to analyze wiring diagrams,specifications and instructions for the plant equipment. In addition, the candidate must have thorough knowledge of electrical principals,wiring specification codes, properties of various materials and principals of operation and application of equipment. Must be able to troubleshoot electrical problems and repair and/or replace faulty parts and wiring on motors, generators, power distribution and control panels,circuit breakers,rectifiers and so forth. Required to perform repairs and/or adjustments to state of the art electrical components such as inverter drives, SCR units programmable controllers, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have 1-3 years previous experience as an Electrician preferably in a manufacturing environment. A High School diploma is required. Must have the ability to work with general supervision and the ability to follow instructions with variation in routine.

Must be able to work a 12-hour shift schedule. Most opportunities on night shift schedule, 7 PM - 7 AM.
