Machine Technician

MTS is seeking a highly motivated individual to be responsible for the maintenance, and preventative maintenance of our automated mailing equipment during 3rd shift operations at our Indianapolis location. The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of electronics, solid mechanical skills, and the ability to train equipment operators. Experience with servicing mailing and sorting equipment helpful. Machinery experience with an ability to learn different types of machine setup and maintenance is required. Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:


•Perform preventive maintenance and maintenance of automated mailing equipment as scheduled and required
•Train operators in proper use of mailing equipment
•Assist Lead Technician with the leadership of operators
•Assist operators with questions regarding equipment
•Keep Automation Supervisor informed of any problems that occur
•Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
