MECHANIC ASSISTANT

MECHANIC ASSISTANT The Athens Housing Authority Maintenance Department is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic Assistant position. Position performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repairs on buildings, apartments, grounds, and equipment. Successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge of basic skills in heating, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work. Experience preferred. Uniforms provided. Full benefit package offered. Applicant must hold a valid Georgia Driver's license, must pass background checks, physical and drug screening and be bondable and insurable by the Authority's insurance carrier. Beginning wage is $25,504.13 / Annual. Uniforms provided. Full benefit package offered. Application packets may be obtained in person from the Authority Reception Desk, 300 S.
