Full-Time - Swing ShiftGeneral Summary: Responsible for maintenance and operation of all equipment in boiler room and mechanical floor. Operates 120 PSI steam boilers and related equipment. Operate, maintain and repair HVAC equipment, including absorbers, centrifugal, cooling towers and air handling units. Operate and maintain generator and fire alarm systems and record findings. Perform preventative maintenance duties, repairs on building systems, including piping and electrical repairs.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: High school graduate. City of Detroit High Pressure Boiler Operator License required. Minimum of two (2) years experience preferred. Ability to read schematics and manufacturers specifications. Must be familiar with building maintenance techniques. Knowledge of safety codes. Ability to work under emergency conditions and in difficult situations.
