Lead Technician

Experienced Laboratory professionals have an exciting Lead Tech opportunity waiting for them on our main campus; Full time, evening shift! In this position, you will assume responsibility for: o Performing complex testing, review and release of results and associated instrument maintenance, reagent preparation and documentation. o Assisting in the implementation and evaluation of new technologies or procedures. o Acting as a technical resource and trainer to those who are less experienced. o Assigning work tasks to facilitate best use of talent and proficient workflow. o Participating and supporting the Quality Assurance Program. o Participating in staff appraisals. Although there is no direct physical contact with patients, the technologist must be knowledgeable of normal and critical ranges for all segments of the population. May be required to participate in laboratory call rotation.
REQUIREMENTS
If you possess the following, please apply immediately: o B.S in Laboratory Science or MT from an accredited institution. o 5 years experience in area of discipline. o ASCP certification in area of discipline preferred.
