Lead QC Mechanical Inspector

Experience: Minimum 5-years mechanical inspection, preferably with a medical device manufacturer; minimum 2-years direct supervisory experience overseeing inspectors. Must have inspection experience with plastic injection molded components. Must have hands-on experience with pin and thread gauges, vision measurement systems (including programming), optical comparitor, force gauges, portable measurement equipment such as calipers and micrometers, balances, etc. Must have a working knowledge of principles of Gage R&R, sampling (based on C=0 and ANSI Z1.4), calibration, GD&T, and basic SPC


Requirements:

Education: HS Diploma required (areas of study to include basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry); two-year or Associate degree preferred (such as from Palomar College's Quality Technology program); ASQ CQI preferred
