Laboratory & Installation Technician

ProLogic is currently seeking to fill the position of Laboratory & Installation Technician. The incumbent will be responsible for building electronic equipment racks for military communications systems. Position also includes travel for Site Surveys and Installation support on U.S. Government sites. Responsibilities includes lab and support equipment upkeep, cable buildup, and some physical work (lifting).

Junior level position with good growth potential in an exciting work area. Must work well alone and with design and manufacturing engineers. Must be able to research requirements and standards, assess job work statement requirements, develop a coherent plan of action and execute with minimal guidance. Technician/installation requires ability to handle basic tools, read and understand build books and work with engineers to build up military racks and transit case based systems.Individuals with technical skills in cable making, quality assurance, or military electronic systems highly desired.

REQUIREMENTS
Required Education / Training:
Candidate should have a minimum of an associates degree in a relevant technical field (i.e. EET, IET, MET, etc.) or currently be in pursuit of a technical degree at either the Associates or Bachelors Level from an accredited institution. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Special Requirements:
-Individual must be willing and available for travel (approx 30%)
-US Citizenship is required for this position.
