Installer

The purpose of this position is to install and repair CATV and HSD in subscriber homes.
Attends work on a regular and routine basis.
Installs CATV and HSD services in subscriber homes from the Tap to the TV, including new connects, reconnects, upgrades and downgrades.
REQUIREMENTS
(Basic Requirements)High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior work experience with RF a plus.

(Minimum Requirements) Skills include:
Applies a variety of skills and procedures within assigned functional area, requiring aptitude for working with customers in a service and selling role.
Ability to work effectively with other technical personnel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge in using various hand tools, and test equipment.
Basic experience with TVs, VCRs, converters and other video/audio equipment.
Ability to solve minor technical service problems with customers thru effective verbal communications.
Basic understanding of Tap signal levels.
Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Lift and carry up to 75 pounds, including extension ladders. Works outside throughout the year in various weather conditions.
