Ink Tech

Duties:Mix ink using set formulas and match to set color standards.
Bring mixed ink to presses
Dispose of contaminated ink
Assist press operators to adjust colors on press to match color standard
update ink formulas to ensure accuracy
Maintain ink room and monitor ink levels
Produce drawdowns
enter ink and varnish levels into computer
Other duties as assigned

Ink Tech Requirements:Must be able to identify and distinguish colors
Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions
Knowledge of english lanquage
Basic math skills including being able to work with fractions
Ability to operate a computer
Equivalant of 2 years high school
Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently
Must be standing 90% of the time and lifting is required.
