Industrial Electricians needed in Northeast Bay Area

Industrial Electricians needed for a variety of opportunities around the Benicia Area. Candidates must be knowledgable on the NEC Code. Candidate with be running rigid conduit within an industrial environment. Candidates be responsible for installing cable tray; running conduit (Rigid); and pulling wire.

Electricians need to complete the following requirements with the client before they start : Drug Test (mike will set up) and BATC Training- on day training. (Sat or Sunday).

Ideal candidates will have a through understanding electrical theory and knowledge of control circuits. Below is a list of some of the day to day duties a candidate will be performing:

- Will install heating systems and controllers.
- Repair, troubleshoot and maintain lighting systems.
- Use pipe threaders and hydraulic knock out sets.
- Run variety of conduit- mostly rigid
- Pull Wire
- Install and terminate panelboards, cablr trayetc




Qualifications:

Qualifcations
* Must have proven experience working in an Industrial Construction environment- running rigid conduit

* At least 3-7 industrial years experience
* Must be able to pass a drug test
* Take BATC Training if necessary
* Refinery or heavy industrial experience a plus.

In addition candidates must be familiar with the following or able to do the following.

1. Must possess knowledge of Electrical Code, GO 95 laws, California Code of Regulations Title 8.

2. Identify and use testing equipment, hi-pot, meggars, volt-ohm meters, amp meters.

3. Must be able to identify and use equipment schematics

4. Conduit bending with all types of benders-hickey, chicago, hydraulic

5. Grounding of high voltage equipment

6. Posses excellent knowledge of Panelboard and transformer maintenance. Candidates must be also able to install panelboards and other electrical enclosures.

7. Must have trouble-shooting capabilities

8. Must be familiar with Piping and instrument diagram (P.& I. D.) Interpretation.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be familiar with the Greenlee 555 model bender (electric bender) for Galvanized Rigid Conduit (3/4" 2").

Must be able to perform 90 degree bends, 3 or 4 point saddle and an offset as a test. Must perform as soon as the job site is reached.

Other duties will include (but not limited to) the following: installation of aluminum cable tray, installation of a complete motor control room consisting of, 480 Volt Swithgear, cable bus, Motor Control Centers, and Panel boards.
