INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

CD&L, a national leader in the transportation industry, has immediate openings for Independent Contractor Installation Technicians with vehicles living in the Bradenton/Sarasota, FL area.

Primary functions are to set-up, install, de-install, operate and provide customer training on all current model computerized postage equipment (postage meters, mailing machines and peripheral equipment) that is assigned to specific queues by Pitney Bowes.

Additional functions include but are not limited to; proficient with successfully training customers on the operation and proper use of their new Pitney Bowes equipment, communicate and interact with customers in a professional atmosphere, completion of all the documentation required for any postage meter movement, knowledgeable about the special handling, storage and transportation requirements of postage.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates will be responsible for:

Install and Set-up all computerized postage equipment (postage meters, mailing machines and peripheral equipment) as assigned in designated territory.
De-Install all postage meters, mailing machines and peripheral equipment as assigned in designated territory.
Provide customer training on operation of low to medium volume computerized mailing machines and scales.
Utilize "customer service skills" that you must have to successfully perform your job to ensure customers are very satisfied with their installation and operator training experience.
Execute and adhere to all Pitney Bowes procedures including but not limited to meter replacements, transfer of postage, meter downloads, postage by phone, Q.A.R. and Postal Meter Security.
Complete all logs, manifests and forms as required by Pitney Bowes to meet all U.S.P.S. and billing regulations.

Requirements:

Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
Good Computer and/or Technical ability
Pickup Truck with cap or Van
Valid Drivers License with good driving record
Self Starter
Computer Access with email capability
Ability to lift 5-65 pounds
