General Maintenance Technician

VeneerStone Company is a rapidly growing concrete products manufacturer that is seeking an energetic, organized, and professional administrative assistant to work with its President.

This position primary responsibilities include:

- Must be able to problem solve/troubleshoot machines (concrete mixers, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical & electrical).

- Contacting and coordinating work with outside contractors, vendors and suppliers.

- Setting up and maintaining adequate parts to minimize machine downtime.

- Initiates action to prevent production downtime caused by maintenance related issues.

- Must be willing to meet the demands of the facility in urgent and emergency situations. The maintenance mechanic may need to be accessible 24 hours a day - 7 days a week to meet the facilities requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires:
        
- Must have good interpersonal skills, be a team player, and detail oriented.

- Working knowledge of applicable regulations, standards and safety procedures; Ability to maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safety habits, setting good examples.

- Knowledge of the use of specialized tools to perform necessary maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.

- Must possess a functional understanding of mechanical systems and the relationship between different systems.

- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Ability to perform with minimal daily supervision.

- Must be proactive in support of the facilities purpose, goals policies and programs.

- Ability to read and comprehend hand books, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists and other written material associated with the maintenance and repair of equipment and systems within a reasonable time.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft and internet applications.

- Train other maintenance and/or other technical level employees.

- Manufacturing experience a must.

- Biligual a must.
