Gas Pipeline Technician

Purpose: A leader in the oil and gas supply industry is seeking a Pipeline Technician for its Shreveport, LA location.

SUMMARY

Maintain correct operation of gas processing and treating components of the pipeline system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Trouble-shooting, maintenance and repair of dehydrators, amine skids, propane refrigeration and J-T skids, and methanol pumps
- Filter changes on coalescing filters
- Records readings from rectifiers on pipeline and takes pipe to soil potential readings.
- Supervises meter station installations, occasionally oversees small flowline installations

QUALIFICATIONS

Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
