An exclusive distributor of high-end appliances covering New England and New York is seeking experienced home-based Field Appliance Repair Technicians for its Eastern and South Eastern Massachusetts territory. These are full-time positions to support the growing service and parts division of this quality Connecticut-based employer.

General Description

Appliance Repair Technician: Employee will perform repairs on a wide variety of appliances in client homes, including refrigeration, cooking equipment – indoor and outdoor – clean up and ventilation. Tools, training, vehicle and an excellent support system will be provided. Applications from qualified individuals from other fields of expertise will be gladly accepted. Appliance background a plus. Applicants must be of strong character, possess solid interpersonal skills and demonstrate electro-mechanical aptitude. The ability to read electrical schematics and perform refrigeration sealed system repairs will be a major asset. Travel will be generally concentrated in the Eastern Massachusetts area with occasional trips to the Connecticut home headquarters.

Initial salary will be contingent upon the extent of training required and the background of the qualified individual. After an initial training period, salaries including overtime range from mid $40’s to $60’s.
