In this demanding industry, there is the possibility of barge repair and ocean-going vessels. Brownsville Marine Products is seeking highly qualified Steel Fitters.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications of Steel Fitter at Brownsville Marine

Ability to read and transpose blue prints.
Ability to lay-out materials.
Ability to burn a torch to cut steel to precise dimensions.
Accurately read and use a tape measure, square, and level.
Must have strong math skills, to determine calculations of measurements for accuracy.
Prefer experience with overhead crane operations with rigging knowledge.
