Electrical Worker III

The Electrical Worker III will perform electrical or electronic maintenance, repair, modification and installation work as directed on plant buildings, machinery, and air conditioning units. Test and operate equipment in order to make final adjustments after making the initial installation or repairs. Inspect and troubleshoot all air conditioning units throughout the plant. Maintain preventive maintenance records and complete daily reports for equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Should be able to troubleshoot and calibrate pressure, flow, temperature, and other electronic transducer.
Must be familiar with the mechanical operation of equipment to be calibrated.
Must be able to do light rigging for the installation or removal of electrical or electronic equipment.
Must be able to use machine shop tools and do light welding and fabrication.
Must understand the dangers involved when working with electricity.
Must be a self starter and require very little supervision.
Must be able to pass job related test and supply own hand tools.
Should have a general idea of the cement kiln operation.
Most importantly, must be a safe worker and look out for the safety of others.
Requires a minimum of four years experience in the industrial electrical trade.
Must be able to communicate effectively and get along well with others.
