Rapidly growing corporate aviation company seeking Director of Maintenance for Van Nuys facility to oversee all functions of a FAR 145 Repair Station.

Maintenance Director Daily Duties:
Supervise all technical services personnel, to include training, analyzing and resolving work problems or assisting in solving work problems
approve personnel actions such as hiring, rate increases, promotion and disciplinary measures.
Review profit and loss statements for mechanical, component and material control departments to identify and resolve variances.
Participate in the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures.
Research and develop new products to determine their feasibility and to allow the organization to stay ahead of the competition.
Participate with executive management in the development of strategic and long range organizational plans.
REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Broad knowledge of management and business administration, involving the use of a broad theoretical knowledge equivalent to a complete college or university education.
Minimum of seven years experience in a similar or related position, including aircraft maintenance and supervisory experience to obtain sufficient knowledge to fulfill the duties of this position.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT/CERTIFICATIONS: A&P license
